CALM membership

If you're the editor of a union publication, and would like to receive the services CALM provides, then you must become a member. This isn't difficult. Print the membership application (download .pdf), fill it out and send it to 76 Westmount Avenue, Toronto ON M6H 3K1 along with a cheque for your annual dues (dues schedule is on application form). Dues start at $100 a year.

If you're not a union editor, but would still like to receive our services, you can become a subscriber for $275. There is no difference in services, but you are not eligible for CALM awards. Your application will approved by the CALM executive.

Free stuff
All new members and subscribers receive a free New Member's Kit, which includes several CALM handbooks.

Notes
CALM regular membership is open to publications or programs of CLC-affiliated unions.

CALM associate membership is open to publications or programs of non-CLC-affiliates. Dues and services are the same as for regular members.

Other organizations or individuals may become subscribers, however, they can't become members. Services are the same as for regular members.

Dues are charged annually, at the beginning of each calendar year. For a new member joining after June 30, dues are pro-rated by half for the current year. For a new member joining after November 1, dues are the full amount, but they are applied to the following calendar year.
